Need-based Financial Aid

Opportunities for qualified students to receive financial aid are available in the form of need-based and merit-based financial aid.  Merit-based financial aid is mainly offered through Graduate Assistantships (GA), Regional Graduate Scholarships, and other sources of funding such as research grants (when available).

Regional Graduate Scholarships

A limited number of partial or full scholarships are available for students from the Arab Region interested in the MPH and MS programs at the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS). Full scholarships cover tuition and related academic expenses, travel to and from country of residence as well as basic living expenses. Partial scholarships provide financial support for a range of these expenses.

AUB Graduate Assistantships (GA)
The University provides fellowships covering partial or full tuition and a small stipend for students at the graduate level in return for a specified number of work hours per week in an academic department. Recipients are selected on the basis of their academic record and departmental needs.

New applicants wishing to apply for a graduate assistantship (GA) should complete the GA application form (included in the graduate admission application form) and submit it together with the Graduate admission application form by April 30 to the AUB Admissions Office at the following address:

Need-based Financial Aid
AUB offers financial aid to qualified students in the form of need-based financial aid grants and loans.  Any student applying for admission may ask to be considered for financial aid, but only those students who have been accepted for admission and those whose families demonstrate financial need may receive awards.  Priority is given to undergraduate students seeking their first bachelor degree.  Graduate students may apply but may not receive more than 20 percent of their tuition if eligible.  For more information, click here.
